Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all advertising services, promotional packages, sponsored content, paid listings, subscriptions, and any other chargeable services offered by ALC Navbharat Ujala News (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By purchasing any paid service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. General Policy
As a news and media organization, the majority of our services involve digital publishing, advertising slots, and promotional activities.
Most payments are non-refundable once the service has been initiated, processed, allocated, or delivered.
2. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are strictly non-refundable:
- Advertisements (banner ads, display ads, text ads) once approved or published
- Sponsored articles or promotional posts after content submission or scheduling
- Classified listings after publishing
- Featured positions or highlight placements
- Paid press releases
- Social media promotions
- Subscription-based digital services already activated
- Any service where work has begun or resources have been allocated
This is because digital inventory, editorial effort, and advertisement slots cannot be reversed once booked or executed.
3. Refund Eligibility (Limited Cases)
Refunds may be considered only under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate payment due to technical error
- Payment charged but service not initiated or delivered
- Ad slot unavailable due to internal scheduling issues
- Incorrect charging caused by billing mistakes
In such cases, refunds will be processed after verification and may take 7–15 business days.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations must be requested before any of the following occur:
- Ad creative approval
- Content submission
- Scheduling or publishing
- Activation of ad slot
- Resource allocation for the campaign
Once any of the above steps begin, cancellation is not possible.
5. Ad Rejections & Compliance Requirements
We reserve the right to reject advertisements or sponsored content that:
- Violates legal guidelines
- Contains false or misleading claims
- Promotes hate, violence, illegal activities, or harmful products
- Conflicts with ethical journalism standards
- Violates ASCI, Press Council, or digital advertising rules
If your ad or content is rejected due to policy violation, refund will not be provided.
6. Modification Requests
If you request changes after approval or scheduling:
- Additional charges may apply
- Rescheduling cannot be guaranteed
- Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by client-side revisions
7. Technical Issues
If an advertisement or post fails to appear due to technical errors on our side, we may:
- Re-publish the ad at no extra cost, or
- Extend the campaign duration, or
- Provide an alternative equal-value solution
Refunds will be considered only if none of the above options are suitable.
8. Third-Party Payments
If you make payment through:
- Payment gateways
- Banks
- Wallets or UPI
Refund timelines depend on the respective institution’s policies.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party processors.
9. Proof of Work
For transparency, we may provide:
- Screenshots of published content
- Analytics reports
- Placement confirmation
This ensures clients receive what has been purchased.
10. No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee:
- Traffic
- Leads
- Sales
- Conversions
- Engagement outcomes
Advertising performance varies and is influenced by multiple factors beyond our control.
Refunds will not be issued for low or unexpected results.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute related to fees, refunds, or cancellations will be addressed under the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
